I spent a great weekend here with some friends. Very friendly staff, beautiful clean rooms and close proximity to the ski station. Incredible views of the mountains and everything you'd need in a self-catering apartment.
We did have a slight issue with the heating as the rooms were very warm even with the radiators turned off. But we just opened a few windows and the problem was solved.

The aparthotel Augusta was excellent. I went with my girlfriend for the weekend and the facilities, the staff and room was very clean. We opted for the breakfast and the dinner and both were very good. They had a nice combinations of options (in the case of the breakfast) and the dinner was also delicious. At dinner I asked for a dish that later on I regretted and the lady kindly told me that she could change it. Best option ever. The view from the hotel couldn't be better. We only regret not having tried the spa.
Esquiades should provide the GPS coordinates to get to the aparhotel. Especially when the town is covered in snow and you can't see much in the darkness.

The overall atmosphere of the hotel was very good. The spa was decent, but it's more of a pool and saunas than a proper spa. Breakfast was quite good, with a few minor issues. The apartment/room was spacious, with a separate bedroom and a double bed. We would have preferred two single beds, and there was also a bed in the living room, which could be converted into two if there are four of you. It was very quiet overall, which is appreciated when you're skiing.

The room was a bit old, and the toilet seat was coming off. There were three of us in the room, and we only had enough hand towels for two. The mattresses were mediocre, especially the single bed, and the double bed was a bit narrow for a 4-star hotel. The Velux window curtain was loose, and the sliding door to the living room looked swollen. The room service was terrible; I've never seen beds so badly made in a 4-star hotel. Overall, the room was okay, but a bit old and neglected for a 4-star hotel, and the room service was poor. As for breakfast, it was varied and of decent quality, but the fried eggs were very poorly cooked, with overcooked yolks. The bacon wasn't great, and I missed having scrambled eggs. We wanted to have dinner at the hotel the first night, but since we hadn't made a booking, they told us it wasn't possible because we hadn't given them enough notice.
La habitación un poco vieja, la tapa del WC se desmontaba. Éramos tres personas en la habitación y solo teníamos toallas de manos para dos. Los colchones regular, sobre todo el de la cama individual, la cama de matrimonio para un 4 estrellas un poco estrecha. La cortina de la velux de la habitación estaba desencajada y la puerta corredera del salón estaba como hinchada. Muy mal el servicio de la habitación, nunca he visto unas camas tan mal hechas en un 4*. En general la habitacion bien, pero algo viejo y descuidado para un 4* y un mal servicio de habitaciones. En lo que respecta al desayuno, variado y con una calidad media buena, pero los huevos plancha muy mal hechos, todos con las yemas demasiado pasadas, el beicon no es de gran calidad, eche en falta huevos revueltos. Quisimos cenar la primera noche en el hotel, pero al no tenerlo reservado, nos dijeron que no era posible al no haber avisado con más antelación.

I liked the location, close to the ski resort, and the spa. The apartment is a bit small but comfortable.

Breakfast was great, and the plan was very well tailored to skiers. They were also very adaptable to unforeseen circumstances (we had to cancel one night due to lack of snow and they offered us a reasonable solution).

The hotel is fantastic, the food is delicious, and the spa is excellent. Ideal for a family ski holiday with children. Very close to the slopes and a very peaceful atmosphere. The spa after a day of skiing is a delight. Flip-flops and a swim cap are required in the spa.

The hotel staff were very friendly and the location was good in relation to the ski slopes.
